Bumbusi wilderness is perfect for those who love to explore on foot.  Activities not offered elsewhere include gorge walks, exploring a rock carving site and visits to the Bumbusi National Monuments.  The shady oasis of the camp itself is a magnet for wildlife, especially during the drier months.  Due to its remoteless, Bumbusi offers the rare experince of not seeing  another person for days.
