Jan 31st | ATH Stakeholders Meeting

The Association for Tourism Hwange (ATH) is excited to announce its first pivotal Stakeholders Meeting of the first quarter of 2025, dedicated to enhancing security, conservation, protection and community engagement in the Hwange Region. This important event will tackle pressing issues affecting both visitors and local communities such as the urgent need to address waste management and poaching activities that threaten our unique biodiversity.

Key organisations, including Painted Dogs Conservation (PDC), the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks), the Environmental Management Agency (EMA), the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA), the Forestry Commission, IFAW, local chiefs and the Hwange Residents Association, will all be in attendance to share their expertise and resources.

We warmly invite all stakeholders and partners to join us in this crucial initiative to protect the Hwange Region, promote sustainable tourism and preserve our shared heritage for future generations.
