Nov 7th | First Friday Clean-up

As the rains return, November’s cleanup takes on a new mission - resilience. This month, the focus is on clearing storm drains, trimming overgrown spaces and removing waste that can block waterways or attract pests during the wet season.

Local schools will take the lead in this edition, learning firsthand that conservation begins at home. Tourism partners and community members will lend their support, providing gloves, bins and transport to ensure waste is properly collected and disposed of.

Clean-up campaigns are no longer just events; they are becoming a culture — a rhythm of responsibility that binds Hwange together. When we pick up litter, we also pick up pride. When we clear a drain, we clear the path for a cleaner, safer future.
