Sep 5th | First Friday Clean-up

This Friday, we come together once again for our monthly cleanup campaign in Hwange. From 8:00am to 11:00am, local residents, shop owners and tourism operators will join hands to clear litter and restore pride in our town.

As always, Hwange’s operators will focus their efforts around areas near the National Park, while citizens take care of spaces closer to their homes. Local businesses will also play their part, closing their shops for a few hours to help sweep, collect and carry away waste.

These cleanups aren’t just about tidying up. They are about showing what’s possible when a community chooses to take ownership of its environment. Every bag collected and every street cleaned is a reminder that Hwange’s strength lies in the shared responsibility of its people.
