On 29 August 2025, the Association for Tourism Hwange (ATH) will convene a strategic stakeholders meeting to assess progress across its core operational areas: Education, Finance, Projects, Marketing and Safety & Security.
This meeting is a critical touchpoint in our collective mission to protect and promote Hwange’s tourism landscape through collaboration, transparency and measurable impact. Each committee will present updates on their work, ranging from conservation-linked education programs and community-led tourism initiatives, to fiscal stewardship, brand positioning and on-the-ground safety protocols.
By aligning on progress and identifying areas of synergy, this meeting serves as both a report-back and a recalibration. It’s a moment to strengthen accountability, share insights and ensure that ATH’s vision continues to reflect the diverse needs of the Hwange region.
As stakeholders, your insights and engagement remain central to shaping a model of tourism that sustains not just wildlife and ecosystems, but also the communities who call this place home.
We look forward to a robust and forward-looking conversation on 29 August.
