On Friday, March 28th, the Association of Tourism Hwange (ATH) brings together its members and stakeholders for a productive and forward-looking meeting. The session opens with a review of the current quarter’s work plan, highlighting progress made across committees, followed by a collaborative look ahead into the upcoming quarter.

The Safety & Security Committee, led by Enock Zulu, presents key updates on efforts to safeguard both visitors and wildlife in the Hwange region. Wilton Nsimango shares insights from the Education Committee, focusing on training opportunities and community engagement. Linda Bennett delivers a Projects Committee update, showcasing ongoing initiatives aimed at improving tourism infrastructure and local livelihoods.

The Marketing Committee outlines plans to strengthen the region’s tourism visibility, while the highlight of the day comes from guest speaker Danny Mumpande, ZTA Manager, who shares valuable insights on national tourism trends and opportunities for Hwange.

The meeting concludes with a discussion on the upcoming calendar of events, led by ATH Chair, Elisabeth Valerio, and sets the stage for the next round of collaboration and action in support of sustainable tourism and community development across the Hwange region.
